Main Screen Menus

The main screen menus give a different way to access some the the areas of Best Choice 4.0 as well as give some additional options.

The File Menu

Unlicense This PC - This is primarily for tech support purposes only. Please do not select this unless you are being told to do so by a tech support specialist.

Restore All Program Defaults - Restores all the default settings of the program to their original values.

Exit - Exits the program.

The Print Menu

Current Data - This displays the Open/High/Low/Close/Volume data in Notepad.

Current Chart - This prints the current chart. Does not print the stock information.

If you need the total chart, you can change color setting to the printing colors, click on the "Prt Scr" button on your keyboard to save the image. Open up Paint and Click Edit, Paste to paste the image in Paint. Now you can print using the Paint commands.

Current User List - This displays the symbols in the current user list in Notepad.

Current Trades - Available only in the short term part of Best Choice, this displays all the trades and their profit/loss for the current chart in Notepad.

The View Menu

Data - This does the same thing as the View Data button on the toolbar.

Wizard - This is the same as clicking the Wizard button on the toolbar.

User Lists - This is the same as clicking the User List Manager button on the toolbar.

Downloader - This is the same as clicking the Download button on the toolbar.

Optimize Wizard - Currently under development.

Program Options - This is the same as clicking the Program Options button on the toolbar.

Database Utilities - This is the same as clicking the Database Utilities button on the toolbar.

Redownload Data - This is the same as clicking the Redownload and Repair button on the toolbar.

The Internet Links Menu

Current Stock - This selection will send you to Yahoo Finance for the News on the current stock.

Dial Data Symbol Lookup - This selection will take you to the Dial Data site to look up a stock if you are unsure of the symbol.

Exchanges - This selection will send you to the Nasdaq, AMEX, NYSE, Philadelphia, or CBOE exchanges

Gary Kaltbaum - Gary Kaltbaum is the talk host on the "Investor's Edge" a radio broadcast. The shows are archived and he gives excellent trading advice

NT Securities - This selection will take you to NT Securities website to download the Best Choice trading execution platform.

Yahoo Finance - This selection will take you to Yahoo Finance's home page

Best Choice Website - This selection will take you to the Best Choice Home page, Main Help page, Separate Files page, Upcoming Events, and Latest Program Updates.

The Help Menu

Utilities - This is used primarily for tech support.

Online Tour - Goes to the Online Tour page on the website.

Online Index - Goes to the Online Help Index on the website.

Online Definitions - Goes to the Online Definitions on the website.

Online Main Help Page - Goes to the Main Help Page on the website.
