Downloading the NT Securities Trading Platform

NT Securities is a brokerage firm that is familiar with the Best Choice method of placing 2 simultaneous orders on the same stock used in short-term swing trading. In the Best Choice program, we have created a special hyperlink (the blue up/down arrows) to their Trading Platform to place the trades.

You can obtain information and downloading instructions from NT Securities in one of two ways. The simplest way is from within the Best Choice Program. Click on "Internet Links" at the very top menu bar of the Best Choice program. When you select the NT Securities submenu, it will take you to the Best Choice portion of their website.

A second way is to click on our website, www.bestchoicesoftware.com. Then click in the lower left box where it says NT Securities Trading Platform. When the NT Security website opens, click Continue.

Once you are on their website, click "Click here to learn more." When the next page opens, if you will go down the left column under "Trading Products" and click on Software Overview and User Outline, print them out for reference and keep in your Best Choice folder. (We always advise our users to have a Best Choice folder - it will become a users manual.) You might want to study these 2 items before opening your account with N. T. Securities in case you have any questions about them. There are several buttons along the top of this page. The last one is Contact Us. Click that and you will be taken to the page that displays all the contact numbers for NT Securities.

While it is not mandatory that you trade through NT Securities, they have created a custom execution platform specifically for the benefit of Best Choice users. Here you can place both your Sell Short on Stop order and, when accepted, place your Buy Stop order. Your order is placed on the NT servers and is not seen by a market maker or order taker. The orders should be placed before the market opens.

There is also a Quick Download button at the right end of the NT banner that will download the trading platform to your computer and should also leave a desktop icon for you to access the platform. (It will be inoperative, obviously, until your account is active.) Please call someone at NT prior to doing this.

As we understand their commission structure, the commission charge is $12.95 per trade up to 1,000 shares + maximum of .50 per 100 shares, ECN fee. Thus, a 100 share trade should be $12.95 + .50 (max) = $13.45 or 200 shares would be $13.95, etc. Their account minimum is $10,000.
