Re-Download (Fix) Data

To get to this window, click on the button on the upper toolbar that looks like this.

Although data suppliers strive for accuracy in their data, from time to time, errors may creep in, and go undetected for a period of time. This can happen for several reasons, but regardless of the cause, the repair is the same. If you believe that the data you have previously downloaded is incorrect for the current stock you are looking at, you can re-download the entire price and earnings history for an individual stock.

This screen is used to redownload a complete history of one stock. You can specify a start and end date, but usually the default dates of ten years will be fine. Once you click the green "Start Download" button, the program connects and starts requesting the data from the start to end dates.(see below).

Dial Data Users

If you only have plan "A" with Dial Data, you will lose your history and only get 6 months of data.
