Overview
The User List Manager is used to manually create, edit, delete, or rename user lists. It also can add stocks to the list and it has searching capabilities based upon part of a name or symbol.

Creating, Deleting or Renaming a User List
User lists can be created either by the wizard or the use of this window. To create a list, click on the "New" button. This opens an "Add New User List" dialog box where you can type in the name, such as "50% Growth Rate Stocks 12/03/2003". The date in the name is helpful to identify when the list was created. There are certain reserved names that you cannot use. They are Amex, NYSE, Nasdaq, Mutual Funds, Indexes, Toronto, Vancouver, and Decision Day Stocks. The program uses these names. When you click the "Save" button, the name will be added to existing user lists.
To delete a user list, highlight the desired list and click the upper "Delete" button. A message box will appear to confirm that you do want to permanently remove the list. When you click "Yes", the message box will close and the list with its contents will be gone.
To rename a user list, highlight the desired list and click the "Rename" button. An "Edit New User List" message box will appear. In the text box, type in the list's new name. When you click the "Save" button, the message box will close and you will see the newly renamed list.
Adding, Deleting or Moving a Stock to a User List
Once you have created a User List, you can add stocks to the list, delete stocks from the list or move stocks out of the list.
To add stocks to the list, first you must highlight the list. Type the stock symbol in the "Symbol Search" textbox. For example, if you type in 'MSFT', and then click the enter key, you will see "MSFT Microsoft Corporation" listed in the list box. Now, click the "Add to User List" button and the Symbol and name will move to the right under the user list, "Symbols in current user list" You have successfully added a symbol to a user list.

text box. For example, typing in the partial word "Gener" and clicking the
From the list of names, you can highlight the desired stock or stocks and click the "Add to User List" button.
A second method of adding a stock to a user list is by using the pink Heart icon on the main screen. For example, you are looking at the chart of Agilent (A). You want to add this stock to the current user list. Just click on the Heart icon and the stock is now in the list.
To delete a stock from a User List, highlight the name from the "Symbols in current user list" list. Click the lower "Delete" button and the symbol will be gone.
A second method of removing a stock from a user list is by using the Trashcan on the main screen, located near the user list name. For example, you have selected Agilent (A) from your list and you are looking at the chart. Click the Trashcan icon. A confirmation message will appear asking if you want to delete the stock from your user list. Click "Yes". This will permanently remove this stock from the list. The next stock chart in the list will now appear. You can delete all but the last stock from a user list using this method. Any deleted stocks will remain in the database and can be re-added at any time.
To move a symbol, you can highlight the symbol and click the "Move" button. This will allow you to move the symbol to another User list.
Name of Symbol Search
In the upper left hand corner of the screen, you can add any symbol or part of a name, and it will search the database for matches, just like 'General'. If you want to see the stock, click the "View Chart" button. If you uncheck the "Clear List For Each Search" checkbox, you will add each new symbol or name,
